This casa particular offers a small cabin that is secluded from the owner’s house, so you actually sleep in a separate space than the hosting family, which offers greater privacy than most casa particulares.
The cabin is brand new and has one queen bed and one single bed, one bathroom and a
closet.
Outside the cabin you have a “relaxing and eating area”, also separate form the family, with table and chairs. There is a kitchen space next to the cabin that has plates, utensils, glasses, sink etc. you can use, but the owners will cook and wash your clothes for you.
The cabin costs 25.00 peso convertible per day (which includes breakfast). Dinner is around 8.00 peso convertible.
The owner, Lumino, is well known in Vinales for her work on the extermination of malaria, in which she went from house to house testing the water for any contamination. Her family was the most generous and helpful host family of all the places I stayed in Cuba, and I can assure you that you will be in good hands staying here.
